XXYYZZ is a fun onchain experiment in the NFT space exploring the realm of onchain identity, scarcity, composability, and finality. We aren't the first to create color NFTs and we certainly won't be the last... but the XXYYZZ mechanism for allowing anybody to mint the colors of their dreams and explore the possibilities with them is unprecedented. XXYYZZ colors are permanently stored on Ethereum and will exist forever.

How does XXYYZZ work?
XXYYZZ is a 3-star onchain NFT collection where each NFT is a unique color. All NFTs in XXYYZZ are provably unique. All data needed to construct your unique NFT is stored in the NFT's token ID itself. Your NFT's token ID is equal to its color's hex value. You can change the color of your NFT by 'rerolling'. You can permanently set your NFT's color by 'finalizing', which will lock its color forever and add a trait indicating your NFT was finalized. Together, all of the colors in the collection form a global onchain color palette.
